The Auzano Team

Muvirimi Kupara

Muvirimi is the Founder and Managing Director of Auzano Capital Management. He brings over 15 years of private equity and executive management experience, having worked across 32 African markets, the USA, and Europe. His expertise spans sectors including manufacturing, real estate, agro-processing, and mining, gained while working with various real asset funds and family offices. Muvirimi holds an Executive MBA from the Saïd Business School, Oxford University.

Dominic Parker

Dominic is a Director at Auzano Capital and serves as Chief-of-Staff. In his 20s, he sat on the global board for PwC’s forensics, business restructuring, and crisis management businesses. He subsequently founded Fitzrovian Africa, a firm that builds and invests in African companies, and co-founded KAGE Advisory, which consults to the public and private sectors in Africa on sustainability. Dominic actively advises firms on corporate development, ESG matters, branding management.

Nyika Kupara

Nyika leads the trading desk at Auzano Capital. He brings direct experience in trading commodities, including grains, minerals, and petroleum products, complemented by practical expertise in developing greenfield mining operations in Zimbabwe and Mozambique. Previously, he spent five years advising major clients within the finance and insurance sectors, including Thomson Reuters and Freddie Mac. Nyika holds a BSc degree in Business Administration from Truman State University.

Thamsanqa Netha

Thamsanqa is a director of Auzano Capital as well as being CEO of Shiloh Capital, Auzano’s sister company. With over 15 years in private equity and M&A advisory across Southern and Eastern Africa, he has a strong track record in sourcing, structuring and managing investments. His prior experience includes consulting for Africa Wealth Managers and roles with Escom Group and Banco Espirito Santo. Thamsanqa holds a MPhil in development finance and BSc in Economics.

Chengeto Magwada

Chengeto is an Administrator at Auzano Capital, bringing a multidisciplinary background that spans digital marketing, editorial work, the culinary arts and the creative industries. Her varied professional journey reflects a deep commitment to adaptability and growth across sectors. She is particularly interested in the evolving role of African women in the global corporate space and is driven by a vision of inclusive leadership that reflects the diversity and dynamism of the continent.

Masimba Prew

Masimba has worked in a range of sectors as an accountant, project finance manager, and business risk expert, at a vertically integrated energy company, media, cellular and broadband conglomerate, and in professional services. Masimba has 16 years of experience working in and managing high performing finance and business risk functions of large, listed groups such as the energy group Centrica and the Sky media group.

Lloyd Manokore

Lloyd is a serial entrepreneur focused on African opportunities, having founded the award-winning law firm Manokore Attorneys (now part of DLA Piper Africa) and established ventures across multiple sectors and countries on the continent.

Hugo Nelson

Hugo is co-founder of FVC Advisors and also chairs the Johannesburg Stock Exchange Clearing House while serving in a number of board positions, Hugo previously served as the CEO of Coronation Asset Management.

Dominic Magwada

Dominic offers extensive leadership experience across the banking and development sectors in Southern Africa. He co-founded ABSA Zimbabwe and served as Deputy Managing Director for Barclays Bank South Africa, alongside contributing significantly to economic strategy and development initiatives in the region.

Natalie Fruchaud

Natalie specialises in sustainability strategy, impact investing, and advising family offices, UHNWIs, and entrepreneurs on navigating challenges and creating values-driven legacies. She currently leads sustainability transition strategy for a global maritime group, drawing on over 35 years of commercial experience, including 20 years in finance and derivatives trading.

Mishern Chetty

Mishern is an experienced finance leader and non-executive director with international experience across diverse industries. His background includes finance strategy roles at the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team and Liberty Global, and he holds an MBA from the University of Oxford where he also guest lectures.
